The story behind this piece..
Nehe was about to sign a new contract with the Otago Highlanders rugby team and he had seen some of my work on my social media pages so he reached out to me asking if I could help him announce the new signing with a graphic - something a bit different than just a photo.
My challenge was I had never done a jersey swap before, but I didn't let that deter me so I said "sure thing, leave it with me!"
So I cracked open a Redbull, jumped onto Youtube University and through the night I taught myself how to create a jersey swap in Photoshop and came up with this creation. I managed to get it done by 4am that night so he could have it first thing in the morning to post that day.
I was blown away to see it appear on New Zealands national tv news station that night when they did an article on him signing. It was crazy!
